Jemma—Creative director, co-founder and official flouncer
Hello. If you’ve read Phil’s biog, I’d like to say this was all his idea – I’m just here for Julie’s cakes. I figure while I’m here I might as well make sure our creative outpourings are intelligent and insightful. I’m also a semi-professional font fascist (I prefer nerd).

Phil—Business director, co-founder and guy holds it all together
I’m Phil and it was Jemma and I who had the ridiculous idea of setting this agency up in the first place. I love sport, I love my wife and two children and I love ensuring that we make life easy for the people we work for, and that what we do works.

I struggled to write this, so instead you may enjoy some of my favourite words; tint, haberdashery, clouds, snorkel, thwack! (as used in comics/batman), piffle, shenanigans, pirate, Tipperary, diplomancy (sort of evil diplomacy), guerilla, pilfer, bike, and skulduggery.

In a nutshell, I’m there to make sure that everything is organised to schedule and on budget and that everybody is happily on track, both colleagues and clients. Pas de probleme! And when I’m not with the guys at One, I’m best found with friends and family sharing yummy food and a bottle of wine (or two).

Michelle—Head of events and stupidly capable parrot-owner
They say I’m a human dynamo and the most enthusiastic person in the world. I like to think that I am to events what Jimmy Saville is to all 80′s children…. I’ll fix it for you.. and you and you and ba ba baa, ba ba ba ba baa baa ba. Unless of course you want a buffet!

Julie— Studio co-ordinator and cake-baker extraordinaire
I look after all these lovely people at One, which includes making lots of tea and lots and lots of cake! They tell me it helps their creativeness. We have cake for birthdays. And on Fridays to celebrate the end of a hard working week. And on Mondays to get us going. And Wednesday…or Tuesday…or….

Patrick— Systems administrator and frustrated bus passenger
I build websites, and make sure that all our servers, computers and other things technical work properly, so that everything runs smoothly – no mean task given the nature of the work we do. My desk is home to a collection of Victorian science experiments that simultaneously baffle and educate the team.

Karen—An account with pink hair. How good is that.
One creative company, one day, looked for one ‘creative’ accountant. That’s why accountancy is not boring, to one! Take one P&L, one balance sheet and one forecast … and one, two, three … capow, Karen! One hell of a different accountant!

Mark—I’m here at One to design and build some exciting new websites! I have been teaching myself web design and development for years and can’t wait to learn some new interweb trickery from the other guys here at One. I’m a huge science fiction fan (BSG, SG-1) and have a massive collection of Megazords.

Paul—Designer to the core and almost unflappable - just don't touch his gradients
I’m here to make things look pretty. Of course, I’d like to pretend it’s more complicated than that, but making gorgeous looking designs for web and print is in essence what I strive to do. Sometimes, with a bit of luck, I might even achieve it!

Nevertheless, liaising (weird), is the other thing I do. At One it means being helpful, and lovely to client and colleague alike to make sure we deliver what we promised. When not liaising (still weird), I sort stuff out, otherwise known as organising. That’s what brings me to the office every day – that and the endless supply of cake of course!

Clinton—Interweb sorcerer, beard-sporter and rollercoaster nerd
The quickest way to explain what I do is that I put the pages into the internet. They say I’m like ‘that guy in films’ who can hack and bodge his way around any problem on a computer. Oh, and for one day, I held a world record for taking part in the world’s largest slow motion bar brawl.
