Wanna job – Creative artworker

Creative Artworker

About us

We are an intelligent and creative design agency. We’ve been going for fourteen years and are a team of twenty. We work with all kinds of business from corporates to public sector, via the occasional promising start-up.

We believe that our job is all about creating good communication, not about pandering to personal tastes, being artists or looking trendy.

We are very much a values-led company – we work with integrity, honesty and transparency.

We brand stuff, design stuff, make websites about stuff, print stuff and do lots of other stuff.

The role

You will be a part of our innovative and highly collaborative team, working on a range of tasks, re-sizing adverts to laying out posters, leaflets and web banners. This role will be in the unique position of working in-house for one of our clients, a leading company in student accommodation management, at their office in Oxford.

Successful candidates will show creative flair and have a strong appreciation of typography and an excellent understanding of layout in print. You will be completely comfortable working with a designer or without guidance to produce high- quality layouts through to print and web ready standards.

What are we looking for?

    • You will be comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines, with instructions direct from the client, as you would be working in-house at our clients office in Botley, Oxford.
    • You will have confidence in laying out all sorts of print, including: newsletters, direct mail campaigns, brochures, production packaging, adverts, in-house projects and more.
    • You will have very strong InDesign skills with competency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
    • You will have an in-depth knowledge of the print process from brief through to final output.
    • You may have experience in working in-house but not that’s not essential.
    • You will be proactive and take responsibility for accuracy, quality and delivery of work.
    • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What you’ll get

      • Competitive salary depending on experience
      • 22 days holiday, increasing 1 day per year until 26 days total, plus all bank holidays
      • Team days (these include canal boating, ice cream making & Ascot racing)
      • Loads of cake, BBQs and biscuits
