Senior Art Director

Description:

We are looking for a full-time creative supremo to keep our creative output to the great standards that we’re known for. Reporting to the creative director, you will be a brilliant
creative in your own right with sharp design skills and a great wordsmith to boot. You will understand the difference between a campaign idea and a tactical execution, and be equally at
home and engaged by either.

You will manage our team of three designers, supporting them in creating awesomeness alongside practical day-to-day scheduling and production planning.

Responsibilities:

Alongside the creative director, you would:

  • Lead creative delivery: work with account managers and clients, setting creative
  • direction, selling it in, seeing it through delivery
  • Run client workshops/brand discovery sessions
  • Work with the design team to bring them on, get involved in the work their doing and make it better/more creative.
  • Direct our creative associates (writers, animators, photographers and videographers) where appropriate
  • Thinking/idea-having: leading and taking part in brainstorms
  • Do some actual sitting at a computer design work and writing work

Experience:

  • Strong portfolio across campaigns, brand and digital, with both design and copywriting skills shining through it
  • Over 5 years agency or in-house experience
  • Advanced creative suite skills
  • Experience of leading a team
